What is Virsona®, Inc.?
Virsona is the next-generation in social web- media technology. Virsona allows you to create “Virtual Personas” that can emulate historical, fictional or public figures, both past and present.
How do I Create a Virsona®?
There are two different types of Virsonas. The first is your own Personal Virsona and the second are the Community Virsonas. You can interact with Community Virsonas simply by clicking on the picture icon and chatting. Additionally, you can further participate by adding information or “teaching” the Community Virsonas, however, you’ll have to sign-up to create a free account in order to login. Once you’ve created an account with Virsona, your own Personal Virsona will also be created and you can start populating and training that Virsona to Remember, Reason and React just like you would.
How do I Interact with a Virsona®?
Interaction with a Virsona is always via a chat box. The conversation looks much like an Instant Messaging, or a Text Messaging chat. Simply click on the chat box and type away.
What Measures are in Place to Monitor Data, Ensure Accuracy and Integrity of Information?
We have a built-in, self-regulation function within the central system. In addition, we provide users the ability to report any abuses. As content goes into the Community Virsonas, users can vote on the legitimacy and accuracy of the information added.
How safe is My Personal Information?
Your information is safe with us! Your data is secured and encrypted using state-of-the-art technology. In addition, we continually monitor for, and upgrade against, the latest “bad guys.” You also maintain TOTAL control over your Virsona account – We have built -in privacy levels, both for content and for who you choose to grant access to your Virsona account. This means that information is both shared and added in a safe and controlled manner. ONLY you can invite people in! Plus, you’re able to decide what level access you grant to different people.
Can I Share My Virsona® with Family & Friends?
Absolutely! Once you have started to train your Personal Virsona, simply enter information in the “invite a guest” box, select which privacy level you would like to grant that individual. We will then send them a password to access your Virsona account.
What Can I do to Add More Personality to My Virsona®?
There are many tools available that will let you add to your own Virsona. These include: the “Teach” feature when you are chatting, as well as the ability to enter vLogs (see vLogs below). You can also tryout the “Ask” function which captures your responses to questions. You can also send in external emails to your vMail address (the email address assigned when you create your new account-for internal use only) that you want to store and use to build your Virsona. In addition, you can always add “Traits” (sets of information) to your own Virsona which will add instant knowledge.
How Can I Teach My Virsona® How to Respond?
When you are logged in and are accessing either your Personal Virsona, or a Community Virsona that you created, you have access to the “Teach” function. On the Chat page you will see a “Teach” button. If you don’t like the answer the Virsona just gave you, then simply hit the “Teach” button and enter the response you would like to receive. The Virsona will remember the information and use it going forward.
Can I Store Audio & Video Files for Future Generations?
You bet! The “Upload File” function allows you to upload files into the gallery section.
What is a 360?
A 360 is like an internal Virsona email. Other Virsona Users can send you a 360 message, provided that they have your account name. You can then include that information into your life archive should choose to. This is different from the vMail function. A 360 is used between Virsona Community members to send emails within the Virsona system itself. Your vMail account acts more like an inbox to capture any and all external emails you would like to store in your Virsona account.
What is The Data-Vault?
The Data-Vault is the area where we store ALL of your data entries.
What is a vLog?
vLogs are very much like diary entries. A vLog is generally about a paragraph in length and should be written in the first person. Virsona searches through the information in the vLogs as one mechanism by which to create the right answer to your questions.
My Virsona® Seems Confused…What Should I Do?
Virsonas, much like people, don’t know everything. If you get an answer such as “I don’t understand” or “that is a complex question,” then this is actually an opportunity for you to “teach” the Virsona the piece of information that it is missing. You can do this by adding a vLog, or if you created the Virsona, you can either choose to “Teach” it and/or to edit the “Trait Files” associated with that Virsona. Over a period of time, the conversation will grow increasingly more accurate.
What Can I do if My Virsona® is giving Me an Incorrect Response?
The Virsona looks for answers from within all the information that it currently has access to. Sometimes this might conflict or might pull up an answer that is incorrect. Again, simply view this as an opportunity to help train the Virsona by using the “teach” function, adding a “Trait File” and/or adding a vLog with the right information and/ or the correct answer.
What are Traits?
Traits are slices of knowledge that a Virsona can be given such as knowledge of a particular sport, hobby or event. This is a very quick way in which to provide your Virsona with an appropriate set of knowledge. You can access the “Traits Editor” on the Admin page. Using the “Traits Editor” allows you to select those traits that you would like to apply to your Virsona. Once you have added a “Trait File,” you can then modify that file by adding or deleting information from the file. If you don’t see a “Trait File” you like, you can also create a NEW file from scratch. Once you have either created or modified a “Trait File,” simply hit “publish” to insert it back into main list of Trait Files. Now all other Virsona Users can pick-up and use that file as part of their Virsona too.
What if I Need Help Creating or Using My Virsona®?
First, you can try “Virsona the Fish.” She is both our Spokes-Virsona and our “Helper-Fish.” This feature was designed to provide help and answers about using Virsona technology. If you can’t find the answer(s) there, then please send us an email to support@virsonainc.com. If you do find an answer, or if you discover something new on your own, please feel welcome to update “Virsona” as she is a member of our Community Virsonas and just like the rest of us, she doesn’t know-it-all either.
