Collection of Personal Information

Virsona Inc allows user to store personal information about themselves in LifeArchives. This information is protected and can only be seen by other users that you define and also by a privacy level setting that can be allocated to each piece of information.  In this manner the user has complete control over access to Individual Virsona information.

Community Virsonas are public information and all information entered may be viewed by anyone accessing the webservice.

When ordering premium service or other products on the site, you may be asked to provide credit card information.

If you choose to use our referral service to tell a friend about our site or to invite them to interact with your Virsona or a Community Virsona, we will ask you for your friend's name and email address. We will automatically send your friend a one-time email inviting him or her to visit the site. Virsona Inc does not store this information.

Use of Personal Information

When you submit information into your LifeArchive to Virsona Inc, you understand and agree that Virsona Inc may transfer, store, and process your customer profile in any of the countries in which Virsona Inc and its affiliates maintain offices, including without limitation, the United States. Virsona Inc abides by the safe harbor framework as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce regarding the collection, use and retention of data from the European Union.

Virsona Inc may use information in your LifeArchive in order to support your participation in the activities you select and to provide targetted products and services on the website. You agree that Virsona can store and use your information for these purposes.  Specific data will never be shared with 3rd parties unless specifically noted. Virsona may use third party for billing services and will share contact, address and credi card information only with them.

Virsona Inc recognizes and appreciates the importance of responsible use of this information.

Log Files

As is true of most Web sites, we gather certain information automatically and store it in log files. This information includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, and clickstream data.

We use this information, which does not identify individual users, to analyze trends, to administer the site, to track users' movements around the site and to gather demographic information about our user base as a whole. We do not link this automatically-collected data to personally identifiable information.

The security of your personal information is important to us. When you enter sensitive information (such as credit card number and/or social security number) on our registration or order forms, we encrypt that information using secure socket layer technology (SSL).

It is Virsonas policy to respond to notices of alleged infringement that comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA") and other applicable intellectual property laws. Responses may include disabling a users ability to display material claimed to be the subject of infringing activity and/or terminating such users ability to use Virsona Service at all. If we take such measures, we will make a good-faith attempt to contact the sender who transmitted the content so that he or she may make a counter notification pursuant to sections 512(g)(2) and (3) of the DMCA. It is our policy to document all notices of alleged infringement on which we act.
